Hi! We’re so glad you stopped by. This is a great place to start if you’re trying to figure out who we are and what to expect at Foothill Vineyard.

When visiting Foothill Vineyard on a Sunday morning, you can expect to find a community of people from all walks of life. You will find a warm, welcoming environment and friendly atmosphere for your entire family. You’ll hear a buzz of conversations, and you might even catch a whiff of something tasty arriving from a local restaurant for our lunch after service, where everyone is invited to stay, eat together, and enjoy each other’s company. Lunch is on us for first time guests! We're just a bunch of people living life together and trying to follow Jesus. We would love to have you join us!

In addition to living lifestyles of worship to God, we believe that gathering to worship corporately is a vital part of the Christian life. At Foothill Vineyard, we want to foster an atmosphere where people can freely express their love for God in worship with the community of believers. So whether you prefer sitting, standing, kneeling or dancing, we hope you feel freedom to worship in a way that enables you to connect with God. The goal of our worship music is to help create a space for people to experience the presence of God.

The Vineyard style of worship can also be described as non-hype. We love to worship passionately, but we also want to let God be God. We desire authenticity and simplicity in our worship. We're not interested in trying to stir up an extreme response or manufacture some kind of fake spiritual energy during worship. We simply invite the Holy Spirit to be present and to reign in our time worship, and we welcome what He brings.

At the last supper with his disciples, Jesus broke bread with them and said, "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me" (Luke 22:19). We take communion together several Sundays a month to remember Christ's sacrifice. Whether done in a group or as an individual, it is a way to honor Jesus and to remember what He did for us on the cross.

Prayer Ministry Time

Prayer is an integral part of our faith that allows us to connect with God. God’s Spirit works in us through prayer, healing our wounds and changing our lives. We want to stand with you in prayer through the joys and challenges of life. At our gatherings, you’ll find prayer teams ready to pray with you about anything that’s on your heart.

Water Baptism

Baptism is a public expression of one’s faith in God and an outward sign of the Holy Spirit at work inside of us. We offer baptisms during our Sunday services several times each year. If you are interested in being baptized, or just learning more about it, feel free to talk to anyone from the Vineyard staff — we would love to chat with you.

When Jesus came, He came to serve. Having a servant’s heart requires us to move beyond thinking of ourselves to putting others first. Serving can take on any number of forms: volunteering with the kids ministry on a Sunday morning, helping a friend move over the weekend, or donating your Thanksgiving dinner to feed the homeless. Whatever it is, be it great or small, there is an undeniable joy in serving others and we encourage you to discover it. We have many opportunities to serve weekly. If you'd like to get involved and start serving, send us a message, and we'll contact you soon!

Welcoming the Holy Spirit

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us and empower us to do God's work here on earth. We believe the Spirit is alive and active today and must be embraced before it can become an integral part of a believer's life. In order for this to take place, one must simply welcome the Spirit into their lives and "practice" responding and walking in that power. We regularly invite and welcome the Holy Spirit to empower us and speak to us in our Sunday gatherings.
