Digging into Scripture & Commentaries

This section includes both books about how we read Scripture, as well as commentaries about the historical context and canonical interpretation of scripture. Many of the commentaries come in a series and have a separate book for each chapter of the Bible. If your group wants to study through the Gospel of Luke, for instance, you might check out the commentary on Luke from a couple series to learn more about the background and hermeneutic interpretation while working through the Gospel in your small group.
