Our church is dedicated to a new vision of planting three Vineyard churches in the next 7 years in Iceland. Our heart is to partner with the Icelandic people and raise up the leaders within the nation in order to create a new opportunity to reach people for Jesus. Our mission is to empower the people of Iceland and to come along side them to plant new churches.

We are praying for the right connections to Jesus followers in Iceland, ready to do some fresh work in the Kingdom of God, creating a safe place for seekers to ask questions, find Jesus and experience the Holy Spirit.

We believe the beauty of Iceland is a perfect tapestry to acknowledge the Creator and reintroduce the people to the One who made this breathtaking place on earth.

If you are from Iceland and curious about what this might look like to partner with us inside your country, we invite you to join us. We will be hosting a FREE one day seminar from 9am-5pm on Saturday, December 30, at the Hotel Kriunes (Kríunes, 203 Kópavogur, Iceland).  Lunch will be provided.

• Partnering with God

• The 5 Step Prayer Model

• What is a Centered set church?

• Exploring how a church can thrive in Icelandic culture

• Vineyard Core Values

• Church Health Basics

• How to Empower Leadership

• Trinitarian Compass and how to use it

• Developing a launch team- what to look for

• Understanding Kingdom Theology and Practice

Once we have establish relationships, create a church planting team and begin plans to return. Once a church is planted, we will plan on visiting additional times in order to see it come to fruition.

There are a lot of steps in between, but we are so filled with excitement and faith that God will connect us with the right team.

We are excited to offer a paid trip to California for one person who attends our seminar. We want to invite you to our homeland and introduce you to the Foothill Vineyard Church. The purpose of this gift is to begin a deeper friendship and partnership between us. The Foothill Vineyard is located in San Dimas, CA – on the outskirts of Los Angeles. While we will provide a ticket to get here and a place to stay in someone’s home, costs for any site seeing and adventures will be up to the traveler. We are so excited to invite you to our home in order to help you see a thriving Vineyard Church family and what it can look like for the people of Iceland.

We are looking for as many Vineyard churches as possible to catch the vision to partner with us on this new adventure If you are part of a Vineyard Church and would like to be a part of the team and go on the trip with us, please email me at jon@foothillvineyard.org. We can get you the details and connect you with our travel plans. The trip will be December 27- January 3. We are planning to go twice a year once we have a foundation established.
